Katie

This was a styled “fun” shoot that I got invited by my good friend and fellow photographer Ashley Abayan. The concept here was basically a bridal photo shoot showcasing a simple elegant gown provided by Jims Oga who is also a hair and makeup artist. The model they brought was the former Miss Iligan (2016) Katie Hammermuller, a very experienced, upbeat model who was truly game for the photoshoot.

For this photoshoot, I was using my old but really trusty Canon EOS 60D paired with a Sigma 50mm 1.4 EX DG HSM Lens and a Canon 24-70mm 2.8 L lens version 1. We were able to find a good spot in a wide private vacant space with a few trees and a greenery backdrop. A perfect place for a white gown to pop out. For my post editing colour process, I went for the dark and moody feel, desaturating the greens but retaining the magenta skin tone so as not to whitewash the makeup.
